Understanding Human Nature

1.
"Philosophies of leadership are determined by beliefs about human nature." This specific quote basically means that in order to lead you must understand human nature. Like a Machiavelli quote "people are greedy, selfish, and fickle" that quote explains human nature because that's what people are like, most people only care for themselves and will only do something as long as it benefits them. So in order to lead them you must understand the people that you are leading how it will benefit them. So in order to lead the selfish people you must offer what desire whether its money or food or women they will do your bidding without question as long as you get them what they want and remember desire is a powerful thing it can make people crazy.
2.
"The governed have a responsibility for their governance." This quote basically means if you chose to follow a certain government whether its communist, democratic, or a monarchy it is your responsibility to follow what they and do what they ask like Jury Duty. Personally I don`t agree with this quote because it is the governments job to create fair and equal rules  maintain order in the country so we don`t all don`t try to kill each other not to boss people around. But anyways if the people chose to obey the government that means they must do what it tells you to do (communism).
3.
"Human Nature does not determine our actions,: it inclines us towards us towards certain actions."
This quote is simple it means our nature does not tell what we will do but what we might do. Its sort of like this scenario a kid that is really mean he`s walking down the street  but theirs an old lady that fell because her cane snapped the kid either A. helps her up and into her house or B. laugh at the old lady and take what`s inside her purse. The chances of him doing the nice thing (A) are slim to none but the odds are he`s going to stick to his mean thing and stick to his Nature and do (B). People do whats in their nature a nice person will do nice things because his nature is kind and forgiving but the a jerk will be mean and selfish because it is in his/her nature. Their is no telling what a persons nature might be or if they change their nature. But the odds are a person will not likely change their nature depending on how long they`ve had it, like Mr.Burns (from the Simpsons) he was cruel in nature but when he figured out he was dying he tried to be nice and change his bad nature but he was still dying until figured out that the bile he built up being cruel and heartless was the key to eternal life so people can change but the are high odds that one day they might change back as well. (So future tip you may change your nature but be careful one day you may turn back)
So for my final statement on humanity i would have to say that my opinion is still the same the only rights that humans have is the right to survive and the state of nature is eat or be eaten survival of the fittest . So Locke can suck it and deal with reality that their is no such thing as a random act of kindness people will only do anything unless he/she benefits somehow.
Now my opinion on human nature is most people will only do anything for others unless they benefit somehow but sometimes their is a small group of people that will do something for others without benefiting somehow but that group is small (very petit). and as for natural rights the only rights you have are the rights you have the power to enforce like survival free speech you may only have the rights to enforce. My opinion on human nature and natural rights are similar to Hobbes but not as close. I like Hobbes and Machiavelli follow logic and strategy and that`s the way I am. The alternative ending to Lord of the Flies

1.The last chapter of lord of the flies was a sad chapter even they were rescued it kind of looks back at what happened like Simon and Piggy died Jack turned an innocent group of children into savages and they completely burned down the island down to the last palm tree. So personally I wouldn`t count this as viewer friendly. Now here`s my ending to Lord of the flies. Ralph laid their on the beach silently covered in scars and wounds he looked at the twins as they fight over a piece of fruit. Then Ralph said to Sam and Eric and said "no madder how much it kills me to say this but we must make peace with Jack" the twins gasped then nodded in agreement. So they walked towards the cave and said to Jack that they were in desperate need of food and shelter, Jack laughed and said to them no because as long as they were on the island you defied me and ridiculed my judgments. Then over near the bushes their was a rustling noise then a black cougar jumped out and the little`un with the scar on his face said i told you their was a beastie. Everyone except Ralph and the twins where scared out of their mind all the little`uns said Jack protect us. Jack didn`t know what to do but Ralph said "listen i read in a book if look into a cougars eyes or run it will kill you", so all the little`uns stayed put and closed their eyes but Jack said "everyone run but they stayed put while Jack was running he got chased by the black cougar into the forest. Then Ralph looked and yelled "theirs a boat start a fire quick" Eric dropped a branch that was on fire it hit a tree the fire started to spread until every tree was on fire birds flew away and pigs were stampeding the boat went towards the island a guy in white suit said "are their any adults here" they said no "all you all British" they said yes was anybody killed they said "two maybe three", then they heard screaming saying "start the boat" it was Jack he had lots of bite marks everywhere and he ran and jumped on the boat and said "get on here before the cougar comes back" they got on and sailed off and asked Jack "how did you survive" Jack  said "first the cougar caught dragged me to its den its bit me a couple of times until I had Diarrhea from the fruit i ate earlier the cougar ran out of the den to barf that`s when I ran towards the boat". Ralph said "now we are heading home" until Jack leaned to the side and got pulled under the water by a squid tentacle and the little`un said "well that proves theirs a water beastie" and everyone but Jack lived happily ever after until they got diarrhea from the fruit they ate. The End. And that`s my alternative ending to lord of the flies. moral of the story don`t eat the fruit unless you know what it is side effects may vary. Thank you please come again.
2. The human nature in lord of the flies was somewhat complicated because at first when they were on the island they followed Lockes thesis were they handled things democratically and made social contracts as good as actual laws. But then half way through the book it turned into Hobbes thesis were they fight for survival and their social contracts don`t do crap and become blood thirsty so its kind of 50/50 in lord of the flies.
3. Rough because they had to go through so much just to barely survive drink urine most of them did. Probably steal from the dead bodies that didn`t make it. And dealing with another countries army being shot at and thrown into crocodile infested rivers and crossing crocodile infested rivers it was anything but easy. The Lost Boys experience was a tough experience but hey at least some of them survived.

Hobbes

Thomas was an English philosopher in the fifteenth century. He was best known for his political philosophy his book Leviathan established the foundation for most of Western political philosophy from the perspective of social contract theory. He believe every living thing creature only obeyed the laws of individual survival (A.K.A eat or be eaten or survival of the fittest). And also that for all humans do nothing unless it affects their own self interest, like lets say theirs a burning building and their is a little girl inside do you save her because it is the right thing to do or do you do it so you get recognized as a hero . One of Hobbes most famous quotes was "the voluntary act of every man shows some good to himself" in normal terms it means no one will do anything unless he benefits somehow. Hobbes recognized the state of an artificial monster which restricts the little freedom there is in this world and flaunts the power over the individual but Hobbes justified the existence of the political power by contrasting it to the well known "state of nature" also totally dominated by scarcity and fear, like the Elmo riot of 04 it was Christmas eve and all was about because a brand new tickle me Elmo was gonna come out. People were so desperate for tickle me Elmo there was a riot and an innocent women got trampled to death (and remember kids Elmo can kill). See there was scarcity of Elmo`s and a fear that they would run out they got desperate and went back to primal instinct get the prime objective and let nothing stop you which proves my theory. Eat it Locke >:-|)
